Tune every lever of Connie's autonomous paper-trading lab. Changes save instantly and apply to new shadow trades. Paper-only — these never touch a live order.
🤖 This page controls the autonomous Shadow engine only — its execution style (marketable-limit, spread gate), size caps, mode, and grades. It sizes independently and does not use your Live Signals risk %. To set the risk %, account size, and contract choice for the signals you trade by hand, use Signals Settings ↗. Two separate engines, two separate pages.
Master controls for how much Connie shadow-trades and how selective she is.
Shadow engine
Master on/off for autonomous paper-trading.
Mode
Simulated = paper sim, no broker needed — start right away. Connected = uses your linked broker (real fills & P&L; sim-learned winner-sizing is held at 1× until real fills prove it).
Instrument
Options = trade the option contract (leverage, but theta + spread). Shares = trade the underlying common stock — no theta/greeks, penny spreads, no leverage. A low-variance way to prove the raw directional edge.
$ per share trade
Dollar size deployed per trade when Instrument = Shares (shares = this ÷ price).
Minimum grade
Only shadow signals at this grade or better. Default A (highest-conviction only).
🛡 Risk-first by design. In autonomous trading, what you skip and where you cut losers matters more than entries. Two levers do the heavy lifting: this grade filter — defaulted to A so only the highest-conviction setups trade — and the hard stop + early trail in Exit Policy below. Let the ledger build, then re-tune both against your own results as more data lands.
Max trades / day
Hard cap to prevent runaway entries.
Max open positions
Concurrency cap.
Contracts per trade
Base size (auto-apply can size winners up).
Contract DTE
Days-to-expiry for the option this engine trades. 0 = inherit your live signal's contract (~1DTE, your Contract Prefs). Set higher (e.g. 3) and shadow re-picks its own real contract at that DTE — so it can test a different expiry than your live cards. Options only (SIM).
Max contracts / order
Hard sizing cap — no order exceeds this, even after auto-apply scales winners up. Match your broker's contract cap so real orders aren't rejected. 0 = no cap.
Max $ premium / trade
Hard dollar cap on option premium deployed per trade (entry × 100 × qty). Clips size down so no single options trade risks more than this. 0 = off.
Skip mixed-anchor entries
Don't open a trade when the 15-minute anchor reads mixed/unclear.
Symbols to trade
Comma-separated tickers to trade. Blank = trade all.
Entry timing
When Connie is allowed to OPEN a paper trade.
Allow extended hours
Off = regular session only (9:35–16:00 ET).
No entry within … min of close
Blocks late-day opens that can't breathe (the 15:58 bug). 0 = off.
Cooldown (min)
Min minutes between trades on the same symbol + direction.
Skip afternoon session
No new entries after 2:00 PM ET.
Morning warm-up until (ET)
No entries before this time. Blank = off.
Exit policy
How positions are managed and force-closed. Percent values are fractions (0.50 = 50%).
Exit tracking
premium = track the option mark · underlying = track the stock.
⚡ Auto-Protect is on (section below) and is managing your stops & targets dynamically. These fixed levels are inactive while it's on — turn Auto-Protect off to fall back to them.
Premium stop
Stop as a fraction of option premium.
Premium target
Target as a fraction of option premium.
Underlying stop
Stop as a fraction of the stock price (0.004 = 0.4%).
Underlying target
Target as a fraction of the stock price.
Force-close after (min)
Hard timeout — close regardless of price.
EOD square-off (ET)
Flatten ALL open trades at/after this time so nothing holds overnight. Blank = off.
Exit policy — Auto-Protect (lock-gains)
Autonomous management of open paper option positions: scale out, jump to break-even, then trail. Shared by the live monitor and the shadow ledger. When on, it manages the stops & targets above.
Enabled
Master on/off for autonomous exits.
Scale-out at gain %
Take a partial at this premium gain.
Scale fraction %
Portion of contracts banked at scale-out.
Break-even at gain %
Move stop to entry once gain reaches this.
Early break-even at %
Arm protection far sooner so small green trades can't round-trip into a loss. 0 = off. Many start around +5% — tune to your own ledger.
Early trail give-back %
Once armed, TRAIL the stop this far behind the peak instead of a fixed lock. 0 = fixed lock. A small trail (e.g. ~5%) usually banks more of a winner's run than a plain break-even — tune to your results.
Trail by % (classic)
After the +30% break-even, trail the stop by this much of gain.
Initial stop %
Hard catastrophe stop from entry.
Counter-trend scalp lane
Anti-anchor trades run in their own tightly-managed lane, scored separately.
Take counter-trend scalps
Allow trades that fight the anchor as tracked scalps.
Scalp stop
Tighter underlying stop for scalps (0.0025 = 0.25%).
Scalp target
Fast underlying target for scalps.
Scalp timeout (min)
Close scalps fast — they're timing trades.
Daily profit guard — protect a green day
Once the day is up past a threshold, scale new trades way back — and optionally halt entirely if a green day gives too much back. Keeps a strong green day from round-tripping to a loss. Default off.
Arm guard at day profit $
Realized day P&L that turns the guard on. 0 = off. Try 2000.
Scale new size to %
Once armed, new trades take this % of normal size. 25 = quarter size.
Give-back halt %
After peaking past the guard, STOP for the day if P&L gives back this % of the peak. 0 = off. 40 = lock in ~60% of the peak.
Auto-apply — learning loop
Connie sizes proven winners up and promotes well-supported gates. Self-correcting and shadow-only.
