Signals Settings

← Back to Signals

Controls the live signals you trade by hand — how each signal card is sized and which contract it picks.

📈 This page controls your Live Signals only. Risk %, account size, and contract choice here shape the cards you place yourself. They do not affect the autonomous shadow engine — its execution style and sizing live on Shadow Settings ↗. Two separate engines, two separate pages.

Position Sizing

How big each live signal is sized. Risk-based: the contract count is chosen so a stop-out loses about your risk % of the account.
Account value
Your trading account size. Used as the base for risk-based sizing.
$
Risk % per trade
Percent of the account you're willing to LOSE if a trade hits its stop (not the capital deployed). Classic default is 2%. This is separate from the shadow engine's $ premium cap.

Contract Preferences

Which option contract each signal recommends. Hard rule: 0-DTE is off unless you explicitly enable it (next-day minimum otherwise).
Enable 0-DTE
Allow same-day expiries. Off by default — Context recommends a next-day minimum.
Preferred DTE
Target days-to-expiration for the contract. 1 = next day. Longer DTE = less theta bleed.
Strike selection
Which strike to pick relative to price.
