The answers you gave when you signed up — editable, any time. Nothing here places a trade, but Broker & Mode below decides where one goes when you do.

⚙️ This page shapes how Context reads the market for you — and where your orders go. Broker & Mode is the only control here with money behind it. Your style sets scanner weights, signal sensitivity and default chart interval. Your tickers seed the scanner and the watchlists. Position sizing and contract choice live on Signals Settings ↗; the autonomous paper engine has its own page at Shadow Settings ↗.

Broker & Mode

Where an order actually goes when you press Execute. Context asks the broker adapter itself rather than reading a saved setting, so what it says here is what is true right now.

Emergency Controls

Two irreversible actions that go straight to the broker without asking the strategy engine first. Kill Switch cancels every open order. Flatten closes every position and cancels every order. They only appear when there is a connected Alpaca account for them to act on.

Your Style

Pick the hold time that matches how you actually trade. This changes scanner weighting, signal sensitivity and the chart interval Context opens by default.

Your Tickers

The symbols Context watches for you. Focus list is what the signal engine prioritizes; scanner universe is the wider pool it sweeps.
Focus list
The handful you actually trade. Type a symbol and press Enter.
Scanner universe
Comma-separated. The broader list the scanner sweeps each session.

Risk & Session

How aggressive Context is with you, and the hours it considers your session.
Risk tolerance
Shifts how forgiving the signal thresholds are. This is a posture, not a dollar limit — dollars live on Signals Settings.
Session start
Your local market open. Default 09:30 ET.
Session end
When you stop taking new setups. Default 16:00 ET.

Chart Defaults

What a chart looks like the moment it opens. Changing your style above resets these to that style’s defaults — override them here afterwards if you want.
Default interval
Candle size Context opens on.
Default lookback
How much history loads with it.

Identity

How Context addresses you. Cosmetic only.
Display name
Used in greetings and page headers.
Firm name
Optional. Shown on the splash and report headers.
